Notes of the Censor
1, The worst Continent to redempt for InterContinental hotels are Europe/Middle-east followed by Australiasia (Pacific) with an average more than 35K per night. Europe can be much worse with only 7 IC hotels at 30K in continent Europe;
2, Note there are two all-inclusive IC Resort in Mexico at 50K;
3, There are 16 ICs have been raised from 30K to 40K from 2010 to 2011 but only 6 have been downgraded;
4, IC Dubai Residence never opens its availability. But the hotel next door always open;
5, In Germany, only Frankfurt at 30K;
6, China is one of the best redemption country in terms of IC hotels;
7, India's IC have been all lowered to 30K compare with last year, ironically I did make a point about IC in Indian being overpriced in last censor;
8, Canada have been gone up while I did mention canada being a good place to redeem last year;
9, Geneva being downgraded from 40K to 30K is a little shoke;
10, The 2010 IC Censor found that: 'The average requirement for one free night at InterContinental is 33,889 PC points excluding 3 hotels never open its availabilities. Comapre with the average requirement for one free night in HI/HIX is 17,406 PC points and 25,000 for Crowne Plaza';
In 2011 it is: The average redemption requirment for one night in IC rised 312 points to 34,201.
